The Treasurer's office is
responsible for the receipting, depositing, investing and
accounting for all funds for the City of Colville, with
approximately 2,164 utility accounts.
It is the
responsibility of the Treasurer's office to handle all
finance functions for the City, to include debt management,
cash and investment management, accounting and preparation
of monthly reports and the Annual Financial Report, accounts
receivable, cashiering, and customer service
for City utilities which consist of Water, Sewer, Parking,
Airport usage and Business Registration.
Additional functions include
the sale of dog licenses, the receipt of parking violation
payments and of funds received from other departments, the
handling of LID assessment accounts, the compilation of tax
returns, assist in providing a solid waste
disposal program for residential, commercial, industrial and
governmental users within the City that meets the user’s
schedule to dispose of solid wastes and providing of information for grant applications
or special reports as requested by other departments.
